[e. axel larsson]
Hi. Welcome to my perpetually out-of-date Drew web page.
I presently hold the position of Enterprise Systems Architect with the department of Computing and Network Services here at Drew. I am also a Drew University alum, graduating with the class of 2002 with a major in Computer Science and a Math minor.
What is the Enterprise Systems Architect?
I am responsible for integrating the University's IT systems into a cohesive computing environment—building the "glue" to make everything work together.
Major components of this work include developing automated methods for moving University data between various databases and directory services, developing single-sign-on solutions so that users can log into any application with a single username and password and only have to log in once, and developing identity management solutions so that users have access to the right set of services based upon their relationship with Drew.
In addition to being the architect of Drew's identity and access management systems, I am also the database administrator for CNS. I am also responsible for Drew's GroupWise email system.
