I've begun to generate some useful items from the vocabulary/reading database project. Using FileMakerPro and lots of data entry, I've been able to make it relatively easy to get vocab and stem lists for most of LfR and a number of other readings, including the Kennedy Unseens and the letters of Pliny that are used in Michigan's Latin 231 class.
Below is a (growing) list of items I'm making available. Please let me know if any of them don't seem to work for you.
A published fruit of this labor is my article in Classical World, Frequent vocabulary in Latin textbooks, CW 97(4), 409-433.
Latin for Reading
Each of the following handouts includes all the stems found in the back of LfR (plus a few more) that occur in the given section. The first column gives the RL numbers, followed by the numbers of the lessons that are included in each. The top row gives the source of the vocabulary used to generate the lists, followed by the number of unique stems covered in each half of the set of lists in the column (the columns are divided in half by color based on the amount usually covered in a semester). The other cells give the number of stems which the lists include (there are 14 stems/page, so you can do the math for the number of pages). The Review Lesson Adjusted column includes lists that have been adjusted to spread out the stems evenly over the review lessons.
