Hey all! My name is Kelley and I'm currently a junior at Drew University. I guess I should tell you a little about myself and what you'll find on my homepage. Here at Drew, I'm currently studying theatre and dance. I am also a ballroom dancer with the Fred Astaire dance company.
I love animals, especially dogs and have two of them:an eleven year old German Shepard and a seven month old Coton du Tulear. I am a self-admitting bibliophile, especially when it comes to mystery novels, namely Sherlock Holmes mysteries. My favorite book of all time is The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. I know it sounds dorky but I've read it about twenty times and never get sick of it.
I love all types of music, from Broadway show tunes to heavy metal and everything in between. I am also a classicaly trained pianist who loves playing anything by Chopin. My favorite Chopin piece is his Nocturn in C-sharp Minor You might know it from the movie The Pianist since it is the opening theme of the movie.
So here's the basic breakdown of my site. This opening page is my bio. You'll also find a section about my hobbies. And finally, you'll find a section with some of my writing. Hope you enjoy!

I've said earlier that I enjoy writing, so I've decided to add a few links to some of my works with a brief summary and a bit of an explination as to how they came about. Hope you enjoy!
Summary: What would happen if Doctor Watson's wife confronted him with the demons of his past?
Where did this come from? I was in playwrighting and we needed to write a brief ten minute play. After throwing several ideas around in my mind, I thought about Sherlock Holmes, especially the figure of Dr. Watson and all the trials he went through in the stories. For our assignment we had to write about a character going through an emotional crisis and Watson was the perfect character.
Summary: A murder in a small American town. An old enemy arrives. Will Holmes and Watson make it out alive?
Where did this come from? I was reading a book on my town for a school project and I wondered what would happen if Sherlock Holmes were to become involved in an investigation there.
Summary: Sherlock Holmes is called to Paris for an investigation and meets two very interesting people during his investigation.
Where did this come from? This is my novel! I honestly don't know where it came from. I just love all of these characters and decided to mesh them together.
His rhythms engulf me, His chords ignite me As my body begins to sway And I am possessed By his mighty power.
My body, mine no longer, For it has succumbed to His alluring seduction. He has killed me with his beauty, But I am reborn in his majesty.
Music, my god, My lover, my muse, My master and my lord, Make me whole!
Choreographing for Drew's 2008 Spring dance concert was a wonderful and exciting experience. I had no idea what I was getting into when I signed up for the class last Novemeber but as a dancer, I figured creating choroegraphy was the next step in my progression. It really exceeded all of my expectations. From Cheryl's instruction to my fellow classmates, all of them have been extremely supportative and helpful throughout the entire process. I feel that I have grown not only as a dancer and a choreographer but also as a person because I have gotten to know and work with each of them.
They are all extremely talented individuals and everyone should see their choreogrpahy in Alternate Planes in the Thomas Kean Black Box Theatre. It runs from: Wednesday April 23, 2008-Saturday April, 26, 2008. At 8 PM every night and a 2 PM performance on Saturday! It's truly an amazing show!
