Personal Information

LucyAnn is in charge of the public speaking program, teaching two or three sections of fundamentals of public speaking each semester, and advanced speech during spring semester.

At Drew Seminary she teaches "The Lively Word," a practical guide to reading scripture out loud and "Spirit and Truth in Theatre." The latter is offered alternating semesters.  Through reading plays, attending plays, discussing the spiritual issues and personal messages of dramatic work, students gain a wider insight into the use of theatre art as a communication tool and become acquainted with the use of theatre “games” with adults and young people.

Administers the Norman Guy Speech Contest open to Drew undergraduate students each spring.
