I Like It!

I like it

But it’s awful

I love it

But it stinks

It’s good

Except this poem

Shouldn’t make you think

I don’t like

Rhymes

I scorn

Free Verse

I don’t like

Prose

It’s words I curse!

I don’t like

Similes

I don’t like

Verbs

I don’t like

Nouns

Or descriptive words

I don’t like

Death

I don’t like

Love

I don’t like

Down

I hate

Above

Things with plots are boring

Pointless things are dumb

Shocking things should mellow

And mellow things should stun

Yes, in this world, there is only me

What a great poem I would be.
