How can I design
my course so that it best meets the goals of the course (both mine and
those of the college)?
The answer to this
question will differ vastly from college to college, but also from course
to course--which is why we discourage teachers from simply recycling old
syllabi. At Drew we have three courses, English 1-A, English 1, and
English 2. Some of the answers to the various sub-questions will
be the same for each course, but there are significant differences. .
