I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Drew University in Madison, NJ. In addition, I am currently a Visiting Fellow at Rutgers-Newark’s Center for Global Change and Governance.

I earned my Ph.D. in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science. I completed my M.A. and B.A. at the School of International Service, American University, Washington, DC.

My research interests are in the following areas:

1. Efforts to combat terrorism;

2. Debates in post-9/11 U.S. foreign policy; and

3. The legal and political ramifications of foreign interventions in intrastate conflicts and post-war operations.
