Alma Mater Fanfare
2000
An update of the Drew University Alma Mater that brackets a new arrangement of the hymn with festive fanfares. The work is scored for brass, percussion and organ and is used both in convocation and commencement each year.
O'Carolan's Voice
1999
Four movement work for chamber chorus and harp that uses melodies of Turlough O'Carolan (blind Irish harpist and composer of the 18th century). Since no words have survived with O'Carolan's melodies, the chorus is instructed to sing the movements as a vocalise. Written for the Summit Chorale.
Nachon libi elohim
1998
Work for a capella 8-voice chorus written around the Hebrew text of part of Psalm XX. The style of the work draws on the traditions of the Russian Orthodox Church for its sonority. Written for the Drew Chorale for its performance in the 1998 Drew Convocation.
Whispers

An 18-minute work for full orchestra. Written for the Drew Orchestra.

Arrangement for voices, flute and harp of Ralph Vaughan Williams classic essay on this beautiful melody.
Come All Ye Faithful
2001
An expansion of David Willcock's celebrated arrangement of this timeless carol. Maestro Nair has added arrangements of verses for SSTT and AABB combinations as well as an Alleluia coda. The work is scored for 8-part chorus and organ. A second version which will include brass accompaniment is planned. Written for the Summit Chorale.
First Noel

Silent Night

A richly sonorous 8-part arrangement of this classic carol. During the Summit Chorale’s performances with the New Jersey Symphony during the 2000/2001 season, this work garnered the most applause on the program.
