The voice laboratory in the Music Department at
Drew University works to explore the uses of electronic feedback
to help speed the complex rehabituation necessary in voice training.

Prof. Nair has been a consultant

Consultant to the music/computer development lab of the Universitat
Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain. |

Voice Wellness Program at the Metropolitan Opera,
NYC. – Appointed to a team of 2 otolaryngologists, 1 voice
pathologist, and two voice scientists to design and implement
the first voice wellness program in a major opera house. The
program has both educational and research components. This program
was a joint project between the Metropolitan Opera and the Schein
Voice and Laryngeal Center, Long Island Jewish Hospital. |

Research consultant for a 3-year U. S. Veterans Administration
study on ways computer-driven feedback can be used to help patients
in the VA hospital system. This is the first large-scale scientific
study of computer-driven feedback in speech therapy. |
