Instructions for Students: Working with these interactive ancient maps

Students will locate and plot more cities, and add texts and images to the pop-up windows for the sites.

 

 

 

Resources for Authors of Programs: Making maps with Exhibit

These interactive maps of Greece were made using the Exhibit program linked to Google Maps with data added in an Excel spreadsheet converted into Java Script.

Exhibit: For Authors

Obtain Google api to import Google Map into Exhibit program

Use itouch to plot latitude & longitude (then put latlng in Excel)

Babel: to convert Excel .xls database to .js
