Fujitsu Limited was established in 1935 and is a leading manufacturer of computers in Japan. Information processing systems including personal computers, peripherals, servers, software and related services, maintenance and support services accounted for 38% of fiscal 2000 revenues; data processing equipment including personal computers, peripherals and servers, 30%; communication equipment, 15%; electronic devices including integrated circuits, relays and connectors, 11%; financial operations such as leasing of computers, 2% and other operations, 4%. The company has four hundred and ninty three consolidated subsidiaries worldwide. Overseas sales accounted for 36.2% of fiscal 2000 revenues.

Fujitsu's stock has been through its share of ups and downs, like any other company.
As you can see in figure 1, the stock price generally increased from 1997 until the end of
1999 or the beginning of 2000, where the stock price increased.
Since then, the stock has been falling steadily.
As you can see in Figure 2, in the past year Fujitsu's stock had a high of 41.5 and a low of 12.9.
