My name is Sarit Ashkenazi. I was born on May 14, 1989 in the northern city of Haifa in Israel. My father's name is Avi and my mom's name is Berta. When I was
six months old my mom took me to Nigeria as my father worked there. Two years and a half after I was born, my younger brother, called Shahar waas born. Until
I was four years old I lived in Nigeria. With my brother and I, my mom took us back to Israel. In Israel, I went to kindegarten and primary school. By the time
that I completed my primary school education, my father started working in Jamaica, so my mom, with my brother and I all went to Jamaica. I lived in Jamaica for
six years. For four years I lived in a beach town called Montego-Bay and attended the Heinz Simonitsch School until grade 10. After completing grade ten, my
family moved to a different city, the capital, called Kingston. In Kingston, I attended the Immaculate Conception High School for grades 11 and 12. In grade 12,
I applied to a few American coleges, still knowing that I will probably end up going to Israel in order to serve for the Israeli Army (IDF). In April it was
found out that I will end up not serving for the IDF as I will end up attending Drew University. Ever since September, 2007 I have been in New Jersey, trying
to complete my undergrad education.
