Guenther Hoelbl, Geschichte des Ptolemaeerreiches. Politik,
Ideologie und religioese Kultur von Alexander dem Grossen bis zur roemischen
Eroberung.
Darmstadt, Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft, 1994. ISBN 3-534-10422-6.
pp. xxxii + 402.

I have only seen it very briefly, but it looks good, having the advantage
of being written by an Egyptologists who has first studied Classics. The
table of contents takes up many pages, so I do not reproduce it here.

Isabella Andorlini, Trattato di medicina su papiro. Istituto
papirologico "G. Vitelli" Firenze, 1995.

A reconstruction of a large roll of medical treatise, parts of which have
long been published as P.Lund I, 6 and P.Tebt. II 677 (Pack3 2386). Other
fragments are in Florence (PSI inv. 3054) and others still the editor has
found in the Carlsberg collection in Copenhagen. These fragments are now
in Florence as well.

The edition contains several prefaces, an introduction on the
reconstruction, the paleography and language, the text, a full
commentary, and ample bibliography and indices.
