THE BERTRAND RUSSELL SOCIETY Publications
Members of the Russell Society receive two publications with their membership: the Society’s own Bulletin, and the biannual scholarly journal Russell: The Journal of Bertrand Russell Studies.
The Russell Society Library maintains a large online collection of books and articles by Bertrand Russell as well as resources about Russell. We also maintain a concise bibliography of Russell’s books and articles, a detailed chronology of his life, and an introduction to his technical analytic philosophy. The Society maintains a members only archive of past Society Newsletters and Quarterlies. Contact Dennis Darland (dennis dot darland at yahoo dot com) for access. The Bertrand Russell Peace Foundation in England publishes books and The Spokesman, a journal on peace, nuclear disarmament, human rights, civil liberties, and contemporary politics. Books about Russell and related topics by members of the Russell Society include Nick Griffin’s study of Russell’s early philosophy, Russell’s Idealist Apprenticeship, Bernie Linsky’s study of Russell’s Metaphysical Logic, Mike Beaney’s Analytic Philosophy: A Very Short Introduction, Thom Weidlich’s book on the controversy over Russell’s appointment to a teaching position at the City College of New York, Appointment Denied, and dozens of others. |
