Dr. Pieretti's academic focus includes women's writings of the early modern period in Europe and her research currently concentrates on the textual strategies of 18th-century French women writers to participate in and contribute to the Republic of Letters. Her publications include articles on women translators, women in the academies and female epistolary writers in 18th-century France.
