Homework 3 - Due
Monday 19 February at 11:59pm.
-
(Hw3Ex1.a2w) Using six separate event listeners, create your own set of camera
controls to allow the user to pan, tilt, zoom, and move the
camera. Save to K drive.
-
(Hw3Ex2.a2w) Create a simple Alice world to fly a pterodactyl instead of a
plane. There is a pterodactyle in the Animals folder in the
Local Gallery. You could build a method to flap its wings, and
then use this as an event handler for an event while the world
is in motion. You will need to answer the following questions
for yourself in order to complete this exercise: Do the wings
need to turn or roll? Should they go up and then down, or down
and then up? How far should they move? Please be creative with
the background in this world. You might want to explore
special effects such as fog. Save to K drive.
-
(Hw3Ex3.doc) Find a book or collection of web sites with information on how to make
films or videos so that you can learn more about camera
movements, angles, etc. to improve your Alice worlds. Write a
two page report (single-spaced, 1-inch margins) on your
findings. Save your report as an MS Word document on the K drive.
