The Young Lady Crow

Unfailingly happy, Crow smiles for the camera, just two weeks before her first birthday. We were out in the fields, playing with her tennis ball, and chasing Canada geese when Crow stopped for a moment to pose for a picture.

A closer look at those pretty, dark eyes. "Are you going to throw the ball again, Dad?"

Tired at last, the Golden Girl finally stops for a rest.

Bas and Crow share a moment at the New England gathering of Canine-l folks in Connecticut on July 17, 1999. It was a very hot day, but there was a pond for the dogs to cool off in, and shade for the people to relax in. Everyone had a great time. Crow is growing up into a very stable, well-socialized young lady, as well as still being very much a Daddy's girl. If you take a careful look here, you might notice that the feelings run both ways.

More pictures of the 1999 Canine-l Northeast Gathering are available if you're interested.
