New members are always welcome!
By joining the BRS, you help support its activities, these webpages, and our shared interests and values. And with a Russell Society membership, you receive two journals, the BRS Quarterly and Russell, the Russell Research Centre Newsletter, and have the right to vote in Society elections, the opportunity to attend the Society's Annual Meeting, and the right to borrow materials from the BRS Library.
Members may be as involved as they wish. All are encouraged to attend the annual meeting and take part in other Society affairs – serve on a committee, contribute to the Quarterly, give a talk at the annual meeting, or work at some other task. Some are very active. Others wish merely to be kept informed.

YOU CAN NOW also join the BRS or renew your membership by paying online by credit card using PayPal. Just go to the PayPal website and open a free account. When prompted for the recipient's e‑mail address, enter brs-pp@hotmail.com. There is no charge to make a PayPal payment, which (foreign members take note) will be handled in U.S. Dollars. Be sure to state, when prompted for a message that PayPal will send as an e-mail message from you to our treasurer (Ken), the purpose of the payment. Include your name, address, and email address, but do not include your credit card information.
In using PayPal, please consider absorbing the fee yourself. This is how. When you go to Send Money, select Personal and then Other. The next panel will show you the calculated fee with the box for "I will pay the fee:" already checked. Thank you for saving the BRS money.

Membership is on an annual basis, with renewals due on January 1. All new memberships are considered as retroactive to January 1, so that whenever you join, you will receive all the publications for that year. The one exception is for new members joining in October-December; their first "year" begins then and lasts through December of the following year.
