Dr. Michael J. Christensen, PH.D.
Formerly founding Executive Director of Golden Gate Community, Inc. in San Francisco, Dr. Christensen is a certified Field Traumatolgist (University of South Florida’s International Traumatology Institute) and a consultant-trainer for CitiHope International. His training experience includes: family coping skills, and community mental health promotion utilizing indigenous leaders, organizational volunteers and paraprofessionals.

DR. REBECCA LAIRD, MA., DMIN
Formerly Associate Editor for HarperCollins in San Francisco and Editor of Sacred Journey, Rebecca currently is Associate Professor of Christian Ministry and Practice at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, Ca.
Rebecca is author of five books, more than one hundred magazine articles, numerous newsletters and workbooks. She has edited dozens of professional books, provided curriculum design assistance to the Pathway to Wholeness Program for formerly homeless clients of the Lamb's Center in Manhattan, documented the Facts on Crack recovery program of Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco, and has served on the board of directors of Mary Elizabeth Inn, a transitional housing project for women in San Francisco.
An ordained minister, Rev. Laird is a graduate of Point Loma College (B.A. in Literature/ Communications), Pacific School of Religion (M.A.), the Institute of Spiritual Direction at Mercy Center, SF (Certificate), and Drew University (D.Min.)
