This mischievous spirit has been seen at the Mountain King's court. He seems to involve himself in the affairs of the valley more than most other faeries, and played a trick on Daxiel when the fallen angel arrived. He and his brother Raven have played a trick on Shane, as well. They stole a bottle of wine from Howard and made a clay man which Shane ate, turning him mortal. |
The Dark Lady rules half of the fey in the Lands of the Moon. Shadow Court seems far more sinister and dangerous than that of the Mountain King, and the Dark Lady has already kidnapped Elizabeth once, perhaps as a scare tactic. The motives of the fey are strange, and that may not be her true goal. The Shadow Court's conflict with that of the Mountain King seems to be a fixture in the Lands of the Moon, but both courts are interested in keeping the Seven Cities of Cibola out. |

This failed, when the Judge appeared and turned the Princes to stone. Could Mahotokah return? |
A kindred spirit of Coyote, Raven came to the Mountain King's court to conspire with his brother trickster. Raven's claim to Eric is long-standing, for it was Raven who blessed the were-eagle with his gift. The Mountain King is the ruler of the other half of the fey of the Lands of the Moon. A great pine-bearded giant, he is jolly and likable, but when moved to anger can use his strength skillfully. His court opposes the Seven Cities as well, one of the few things he and the Dark Lady, his former wife, agree upon. |
The new gatekeeper of the Mountain King's court is a frightening creature. He has long white hair that hangs down to cover his naked body. His eyes are steel grey, and his hands end in claws. Tah-Na-Weh |
The old gatekeeper at the Court of the Mountain King was a tiny, hairy creature, who grew in size until he was six feet tall when he opened the door. Tah-Na-Weh was a close and loyal friend to the hearty Mountain King, and he took to post of gatekeeper knowing he would die in the role. When Shane killed him, the Mountain King was enraged, and Lucy and Elizabeth had to bargain to prevent the Court from taking revenge. |
